Adherents http://www.adherents.com/ Huge independent site providing statistical information on religious affiliation. Covers all faiths and all geographical regions, although to varying depth of detail. Provides links to sites with information about different religions.
BAILII British and Irish Legal Information Institute http://www.bailii.org/ This site provides access to the most comprehensive free and up-to-date collection of British and Irish primary legal materials on the internet. As at 6 January 2001, BAILII includes 19 databases covering 5 jurisdictions. The system contains over two gigabytes of legal materials and well over 250,000 searchable documents with about 5.5 million hypertext links. It includes pretty much all primary legal material from Britain and Ireland that is freely available to the public.
BOPCRIS http://www.bopcris.ac.uk/ Web-based bibliographic database of 16,435 references to key British Official Publications 1833-1983. Provides indexed abstracts of documents and indicates where they are located.
Euroguide http://www.euroguide.org/ A subject gateway to websites which contain information about the European Union. Authoritative sources of European Union information classified by 60 subject categories.

Jewish Encyclopedia http://www.jewishencyclopedia.com/index.jsp "This website contains the complete contents of the 12-volume Jewish Encyclopedia, which was originally published between 1901-1906. The Jewish Encyclopedia, which recently became part of the public domain, contains over 15,000 articles and illustrations. This online version contains the unedited contents of the original encyclopedia. Since the original work was completed almost 100 years ago, it does not cover a significant portion of modern Jewish History (e.g., the creation of Israel, the Holocaust, etc.). However, it does contain an incredible amount of information that is remarkably relevant today."

Each resource in the catalogue has been selected and described by a librarian or academic.
